July 28 West Virginia Wildflowers

Bee Balm

Tall Bellflower

These flowers were seen in abundance, roadside along the Scenic Highland Highway in the Monongahela National Forest. The displays of Bee Balm were particularly stunning.

  Off Thornburg trail I spotted these in the creek and again later in the day in Hannahs Creek. It is always a treat to see them blooming.
