Nov 11 TRLT Outdoor Challenge Day 11

 Rainy Day at NC Zoo

We took a quick walk around North America and Africa on a rainy day. North America still have a two way pathway through it but Africa has been redesigned for a one direction loop. This limits the number of people you normally pass during a zoo visit.

I've always enjoyed the signs in Africa and the Akiba Market, which is currently closed along with the Africa entrance. The long and high walking bridge at the Africa entrance is impressive.

Cypress trees, naturally would be found in the "Cypress Swamp" exhibit, the first you encounter upon entering at North America entrance.

Sculptures and other artwork make an impressive debut as you begin you tour of North America.
