My morel foraging area produced a few more tasty morel morsels today. Most were showing some age but these two shown below were as pretty as they get.

nice mushrooms, I know they were good eating. your pictures reminded me of my childhood mushroom picking with my dad, he liked canning them in his tomato sauce and vegtable mix...delicious. I had 3 of my pictures framed from the smokies. One of them I took of the Grand Tetons I am entering in the photo contest next WWW if I make it there next Jan, just for the fun of it, I am no expert in photography thats for sure. Jo and I are going to the Smokies next month for a few days to hike, looking forward to the trails, hope to see some flowering plants or rodies in bloom....take care deb
