Mar 7 Peachtree Rock

 


Peachtree Rock Heritage Preserve is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Columbia. The main attraction now is Little Peachtree Rock, pictured above. 


Sandstone erodes and makes these weirdly shaped formations.

In December of 2013, Peachtree Rock was an upside down big rock pyramid. Then it toppled and now it is just a big rock. Below is what it looked like before the topple.
